Grieg Group sell Logistics company

Grieg Logistics

Grieg Group, as the owner of Grieg Logistics, is selling the Agency, Terminals and Governmental services divisions to Inchcape Shipping Services

-Grieg Logistics have a long and proud history with Grieg Group. In recent years we have built an excellent relationship with Inchcape Shipping Services and it became clear that they would be the best owners to develop this business further. We are therefore confident that this is the right decision for the company, the employees and Grieg Logistics’ customers moving forward, says Chair of the Board in Grieg Logistics, Matthew Duke

Duke points to the company’s size and the international market Grieg Logistics operate in as the reasons why it makes sense to sell to Inchcape.

Grieg Logistics and Inchcape have closely collaborated for many years. In 2019 they signed a partnership agreement. The partnership facilitated the sharing of technologies and the expansion of port agency support in Norway. This has made Inchcape Grieg Logistics most important partner.

-Inchcape knows us well and there are longstanding and good relationships between us on both the leadership and operational level. All employees will stay on with the company and I am confident they will be well looked after. We wish all colleagues in Grieg Logistics and Inchcape the best of luck for the future, Duke says.

Grieg Connect, the digital division of Greg Logistics has been retained by Grieg, and thus their employees and customers are not impacted by this transaction.
