Last week Grieg Group gathered 50 of our leaders and owners in beautiful Bodø for our yearly Summit. On the agenda was value-based leadership, and we invited some of Scandinavia’s best minds to inspire us.
–I firmly believe in the connection between getting people to thrive and be seen, and a company’s ability to profit. We as leaders have a particular responsibility in this regard. To get better we must train and work on it. It’s the same for leadership skills as any other areas in life you want to get better at, says Hege Leirfall Ingebrigtsen, CEO in Grieg Maturitas
Grieg invited among others the former Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson, the former fighter pilot and mental coach Bjørn Mannsverk and former CEO of DnB, Rune Bjerke to give their perspective on leadership
–We are very happy to have such capacities visit our Summit. The wise and somber note struck by Göran Persson in the tumultuous times we live in today in particular was extraordinary, and something I think everyone who listened wont soon forget, she adds.
During the three days stay famous Norwegian artist Halfdan Sivertsen and Terje Nohr entertained us with beautiful and humorous tunes, and we had a group excursion by rib boat to the spectacular Saltstraumen, one of the worlds strongest sea currents.
We are already looking forward to next year
